North Fair Oaks is a community located in San Mateo County, California. It has held the annual one-day event, which includes food and arts, since 2000. Hosted by the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Department, the first annual festival drew 1500 attendees and has grown to over 40,000. It is an event that brings together businesses, members of the community, and law enforcement in one celebration.

Numerous events throughout the day celebrate local arts, entertainment, and food. A raffle offers a variety of prizes, including electronics and travel. Each year there is a Queen of the Festival program that spotlights several young women. Five women receive a scholarship to help pursue higher education as the amount donated increases each year.
